Refills - Calendar & Tasks App Reviews

Ive had this about a week now, and each day i am more impressed with how well it meets my needs. Now I hardly ever need to look at the native iPhone calendar or another to-do app. Like so many of you I had tried other calendars without finding exactly what i needed: 1) the calendar and task list on a single page, and 2) the ability to sync with either Google or the iPhone calendar OR BOTH . This was crucial because i have an Exchange calandar for work that Google cant read, but everything else is on Google Calendar. When you are syncing with both at the same time you turn on or off exactly which calendars you want from either platform. But its the little touches that make this app so wonderful - the ability to swipe from page to page with your thumb, the use of tap, double tap, or hold to quickly add or change an entry, the ability to customize the look, feel and usability. The only thing I dont like is that when you have calendar entries starting at the same time theyre stacked on top of each other - thats confusing, as opposed to side by side, as on the apple calendar.

Pros: simple but elegant UI; no super fancy features (that I would never use) to confuse the issue of being a calendar and event manager; ease of use; easy to read; syncs with Google calendar and tasks nicely Cons: can be slightly sluggish when syncing with Google (although a lot faster than some other apps); for tasks, wish it gave the option of syncing to Reminders (and Siri integration would be nice, too). Overall, very nice app! If integrated with Reminders and Siri, Id give it 5 stars.

Straight forward user interfaces with controls that are stupid easy to use 5.) Calendar management 6.) Task integration with calendars 7.) Simply slick!!! I test drove every calendar/task app in the apple store and hands down this is the best easily. U may not wanna waste your time, I did the foot work for u. $9.99 is a worthwhile investment. Plus theres a lite version to see for yourselves. This is my first review so u can tell I feel that strongly about this.

This app should replace the name from refills into just Elegant Calendar, Hands down it is the best ever calendar I purchased. I do have a messy cluttered 4 kinds of calendar but when i run this app they turn into simple well organized calendar. The main thing here is the UI is very clean. Nice awesome apps I can now uninstall my other 5 calendar apps.

Very clean and elegant interface. Would love to see recurring tasks and task alarms, which would definitely make it 5 star.

This app was working fantastic and then yesterday started to crash. I reset the phone to make sure its not on my end. I love this application and really wish they would get it fixed so I can use it.

Easy to connect to and choose my calendars. I love the choice of calendar styles and switch with no problems. Ive used this app for many years.

Love the app but I need to share some of my meetings/appointments with others,, please integrate that into the app!!

The UI does look clean, but thats about all I can say. There are too many "if, ands, and buts" around syncing. There are many other productivity apps today for less money, with a much better overall User Experience. I am not interested in workarounds to sync my IOS Calender and IOS reminders.

This is my favorite calendar app. I dont use sync though. I also had used many calendar apps bought quite a few, looking for the perfect one for my needs. Use the lite version before buying this one. The only thing I could wish for is more refill designs! Added on feb 2014: this is still one of my favorite calendar apps. It is the BEST calendar app for ipad mini. Beautiful clean interface! thank you!!

I have been trying different iPad calendars for over a year. Not only do I love this app, but I am inspired enough to do my very first app review. It is elegant, functional, intuitive, and full of customization options. I can use it to manage both my google calendar and tasks - seems basic, but that is how so many other apps have been disappointing. Not cheap, but worth it.

My first review was critical and Id forgotten I wrote it. I use this as my main calendar for iPhone. iPad I like the default calendar better. New update took away the holiday dates bring in red. Why? Now they are gray and not noticed.

I love this calendar. This is my main calendar on my iPhone. Easy and quick. Just wish you could change the name to something else other than Refill. Also wish it could have a password like other calendars.

Very well laid out - unlike a lot of cutesy-clever designs, this is a very easy to read, cool looking & simple design. Very much like Informant, but without all the extra clutter. Nice job! (I do wish they had a cooler icon, ie without the blue-on-blue calendar, but not a big deal :)

I love so many features of this app but I am once again having stability issues. The calendar freezes or closes abruptly without saving. Wish theyd fix the bugs once & for all because when it works its a great calendar.

Great traditional design, all around functionality and highly customizable. Worth every penny. Leave your native iPhone app behind.

I liked Refills and it was a great app, but it quit on my iPhone and iPad.

Nothing will ever be as good as my Palm Pilot. Refills is close as I could find. Am pretty happy with it and use it all the time.

My family has loved this App! We have it on all of our devices and use it to keep track of everything we are doing in our google calendars. We never double book anything since the app syncs the moment we add anything. I also love being able to see a "preview" of what we put on specific dates while its in the 31day view. Overall Ive never had one issue with this app or google colander, and hope I never do.

This app is great for my small business,and future schedules. It works easily and quickly. I recommend it.
